1. Acceptance of the Terms

Welcome to Skate Live.

By using the app, the website or creating an account, you accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use features that require registration.

2. What Skate Live is

Skate Live is a speed skating platform that lets users view events, race programmes, live sessions, results, rankings, athletes, sports clubs and skating venues.

The aim of the project is to promote the sport, provide useful services to families and create a broader, more engaged community.

3. Sports data

Information published on Skate Live may come from public sources, federations, organisers or other authorised parties.

Although great care is taken to keep data updated, Skate Live cannot guarantee that all information is always complete, final or updated in real time.

If there is any difference between data shown in the app and official data, the communications of the event organiser or competent body always prevail.

4. Use of the service

Users agree to use Skate Live correctly and in compliance with the law.

In particular, users must not:

• use the app for unlawful purposes;
• attempt to access systems or data without authorisation;
• compromise the operation of the service;
• use automated tools to collect data without authorisation;
• impersonate other people;
• misuse data relating to minors.

5. User account

Registration is optional but necessary to use some features.

The user is responsible for the accuracy of the data entered and for keeping login credentials confidential.

Each account is personal and may not be shared with other users.

6. Accounts of minors

If the profile of a minor athlete is created or managed, the action must be carried out by a parent, by the person holding parental responsibility or by an expressly authorised person.

7. User-uploaded content and Marketplace

The user retains ownership of content uploaded to Skate Live.

By uploading content, the user grants Skate Live the right to store, display and use it only for the operation of the service.

The user declares that they hold all necessary rights over published content and images and that Marketplace listings are truthful, relevant to sports equipment and compliant with the law.

Skate Live only provides a meeting space between private users: it does not sell, buy, process payments or shipping, charge commissions or guarantee identities, quality, safety or availability of items. Price, delivery, checks and agreements remain the sole responsibility of the parties.

Skate Live may reject, suspend or remove content considered offensive, unlawful, misleading, irrelevant or contrary to these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Skate Live name, software, graphics, design, logo and all elements developed for the platform are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Third-party marks and content remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Service availability

Skate Live is continuously evolving.

To improve the service, updates, changes, maintenance or temporary suspensions may be carried out without prior notice.

The objective is to ensure the best possible operation of the platform.

10. Limitation of liability

Skate Live is committed to keeping the service reliable and updated.

However, it cannot guarantee the absence of errors, interruptions or delays in updating information from external sources.

The app does not replace official communications from competition organisers or competent sports bodies.

11. Community and project

Skate Live was created to support speed skating through digital services dedicated to athletes, families and sports clubs.

Some features, initiatives and projects in the app are under development and may evolve over time thanks to community participation.

Sections dedicated to community growth, support hearts and possible future projects are not fundraising campaigns or donation requests. Their purpose is to measure user interest in the development of the project.

12. Account closure

The user can delete their account at any time using the "Delete profile" function in the Athlete Area.

Account deletion does not automatically remove public sports data from external sources.

13. Changes to the Terms

These Terms of Use may be updated at any time to reflect the evolution of the project, the introduction of new features or legal changes.

The last updated date will always be shown at the beginning of the document.
